If your computer is running slow and you are using Windows 7, 8 or 10 then you will want to run the Disk Cleanup utility which is built into your administrator account.
Disk Cleanup will scan your computers hard drives and determine what files can be deleted securely without affecting the operating system.
Below are the steps you need to follow to run Disk Cleanup on your computer.
- Search for Disk cleanup from the taskbar and select it from the list of results.
Under Files to delete, select the file types to get rid of. It is probably best to select all of the tick boxes. If you want to view the files you are deleting click on View Files in the bottom right.
